NBA Player Victor Oladipo’s Miami Beach Mansion Sold for $9 Million

Victor Oladipo has successfully sold his modern Miami Beach mansion for a substantial $9 million. This sale comes as Oladipo prepares for his return to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The luxurious property boasts seven bedrooms and is situated on the exclusive Hibiscus Island, a gated community in Biscayne Bay. Accessible only via the MacArthur Causeway, this sale has set a record as the highest non-waterfront transaction in the enclave, as reported by Liz Hogan, the listing agent from Compass.

“The sale indicates a strong and growing demand for luxury real estate in the area,” she said. “More and more high-end buyers and developers are coming to the neighborhood leading to increased property values and further development.”

This exceptional property, covering nearly 6,500 square feet and featuring a glass-covered design, is situated on a rare, oversized corner lot. It offers an open and light-filled floor plan, stylish interior decor, and a more substantial footprint compared to typical residences on Hibiscus Island, as highlighted by Liz Hogan.

The residence boasts high ceilings, an eye-catching staircase, a game room, a gourmet kitchen equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and custom cabinetry, a living area with impressive wood accent walls, and a primary bedroom suite complete with a luxurious spa-like bathroom and two walk-in closets, all detailed in the listing.

The outdoor space is equally impressive, featuring a spacious pool, ample room for entertainment, relaxation, and outdoor dining, as well as a private guest house. Victor Oladipo even added a recording studio worth $50,000 to the guest house, as mentioned by Hogan.

Victor Oladipo, aged 31, spent two seasons with the Miami Heat before being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in July, where he previously played during the 2016–17 season. He had acquired this modern mansion in the spring of 2021 for $7.75 million, according to PropertyShark records, and the decision to sell was unrelated to his basketball career, according to Hogan.

Hibiscus Island, known for its prestigious address, offers residents a variety of amenities, including a waterfront park, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, and a 24-hour police presence at the main entrance.

The identity of the buyer in this sale has not been disclosed.
